Tonight I spoke to a parent of an autistic child who uses medication to treat her son. She was kind enough to spend an hour or so taking me through the process of getting her son on a medication that works for him. She has had great results in eliminating some unwanted behaviors and allowing some new breakthrough behaviors to take hold.
My son Logan has been showing signs of aggressive behavior in the past two weeks and has also been running away more than usual. Logan is sleeping less and getting frustrated with things. Medication may be the next step for him and us. I will keep you updated on our decision and any further developments.
